i have a '68 nova with a 355 built for bracket racing. it has 12.5 to 1 compression, brodix track 1 heads. the trans is a th350 w/ a 4500 stall. the rear end is a 8.5 10 bolt with 4.56 gears. my best pass so far is 12.48 at 111.48. the biggest problem i have is getting the car to 60 ft. traction isn't bad.maybe better bars or suspention work will fix 60 ft times. car should be a little quicker than that.

It has bucket seats, floor console with gauge package inc. factory tach, floor shifter, factory rear sway bar, TH350, 350 4bbl, etc. I've seen various sites with production numbers but they only include the "custom" and not the "SS". Does the Custom package include the SS package or was it an additional option? Exactly how rare is this car?

About 8 or so years ago I had a 66 Nova SS, 6 cylinder automatic that was totally original, red with black interior, the only option probably was the radio and ralley type wheels. The ralley wheels may have been SS equipment. Sold it after 8-10 months because a person just could not do without it. At present, I am looking at a '67 Nova Wagon with some surface rust and front floor pans being gone. It's a V8, automatic with after market radio, the engine looks like a 350. Will find out tonight, as that's what may be my next NOVA. Have been a member of NNN, but dropped out about two years after I sold '66 SS. Anyone with a '67 Wagon may be able to give me pointers on getting it back reasonably original to street-wise. Thanks

For starters I own an authentic 76nova ss granted it's not
a factory screamer but it's cool and kinda rare with a driveline transplant it's a potent as anthing else! I get sick of people treating 75-79 novas as nocount they have there following yea I like 66,67,68-74's also but I just so happen to fall into a 76SS and I like it! it's small, light easy to make fast and with fat tires it pretty tough looking it's not like i'm trying to pass off a 83 impala as a muscle car but if thats what someone likes morepower to em go with it. finding parts for my 76SS is not easy, classic ind. listed up thru 79 but didn't have crap after 73 a dissapointment if I must say. I need a raidiator support and parts to convert it to a 4-gear (clutch parts, linkage, peddles, ect. not the tranny)where do I find this stuff not in any catalog I've found anybody got any advice please let me know, thanks. aaron waltz

I just started getting my 63' Nova together. I recieved your number from a friend. I later made a small purchase and appreciated the fact that getting the part was so easy and not so out of the way, not to mention the fact that I was introduced to a fellow Nova owner. I unfortunatly misplaced the information. If at all possible, I would like to regain this valuable information, telephone number and if at all possible a catalogue. I thank you for your efforts. I look forward to doing business with you again soon. Sincerely,
Matthew

Hello Everyone ! I have been an admitted Novaholic for 26 years . I've owned 5 of them so far and have no plans of ever not owning one . I will be rebuilding my Hot Rod Power Tour motor over the winter and keep it closer to home . The desert runs kill it and me ! My recent 71 Nova is 454 powered and is very quick . Can't wait till summer to power it up once again and go burning down the highway : ) See Ya P.S. Check it out at www.PetesNova.com

I happened on your site, and was perusing the pics. I have a 1971 Nova that my wife and I have been restoring for a year now, and are in the middle of now. We ahve had many fun nights cruising to the local rod spots around the area, and are looking forward to many more. Like your site.

Currently own a 71 SS, bought in Alb NM. Original motor and trans (350/350)pulled and preserved, currently a running warmed over 350/350 with Holley Sys II intake system. Ready to install a posi 4.10 in the originqal 12 bolt. Long time Nova admirer and owner. Question - does the name Nova have anything to do with N-ova/O-mega/V-entura/A-pollo?
Have a nice day.
